The Memorial Lodge was constructed in 2005, funded by generous donations, and was officially dedicated on September 7th 2005 by the Bishop of Ely. The Lodge is intended to provide facilities for visitors to the Ground, and shelter on inclement days. It is always opened when funerals take place, so visitors may use the toilet facilities and shelter if needed. The Lodge is not a chapel, but it may be used for services (it accommodates about 30 people comfortably) and/or for gatherings following funerals. A charge is made for such use - please ask for details. The Memorial Lodge is always open each Wednesday morning from 9-11 am. We would be delighted to welcome you and discuss any questions you may have. If you intend to visit and are coming from some distance, it is advisable to call in advance, not only to check that we will be available (staff commitments can vary), but also so we can stay on should you be delayed. We are happy to meet at other times by appointment (Monday to Friday).
