What is the lodge?

The Lodge provides facilities for visitors and is always open when funerals take place, so visitors may use the toilets and take shelter if needed.

Whilst the Lodge is not a chapel, it is increasingly being used for services and gatherings following funerals. The photo gives an idea of how it looked prior to a funeral gathering.

Since it was extended in 2010 there are now seats for 55 people and quite a lot of standing room.

The Lodge has an audio system so music can be played from CDs, memory sticks, MP3 players and other gadgets such as phones, tablets, or laptops. lease There is also an electric keyboard if required. We do advise that you come before hand to make sure your chosen form plays on our system.
